Update on Yorkie Sweater Project
	As of September, we have received 22 sweaters to be sent to the United Yorkie Rescue Organization. The sweaters will be put on their website for sale and the proceeds go to paying for veterinarian bills for the Yorkies who need medical care before they can be adopted. Sweaters are still being accepted and thank you to all who have contributed to this effort. http://shop.unitedyorkierescue.org/main.cfm

Sock It to Breast Cancer
	Knit any shade of pink socks to be donated to RMH by October 11. Use any pattern and size of your choice or come in for a pattern. For more information, call Knit Works at 434-6900.

SNUGGLES PROJECT
	Our community project is knitting or crocheting mats for the local SPCA. The mats make the animal more comfortable in their kennel and when adopted,they are sent home with the pet. This project is an excellent way to use left-over yarn.the yarn needs to be washable and dryable.be creative,go wild in your color and stitch selection! Any size is acceptable .
